Who we are

WE ARE THE NEW MEXICO CLIMBING COMMUNITY.

Outdoor Gateways is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Taos, New Mexico. We believe access to outdoor climbing — and the career pathways that follow it — should be a right for every Indigenous and underrepresented young person in the state, not a privilege.

Outdoor Gateways began with Taos Pueblo and expanded through schools, alternative programs, and youth organizations across the region. Every program is designed in coordination with the partner community.
